Mark Your Calendars - June 10th Swap Meet Event!

On Sunday, June 10th, The Hen House will host its 1st Annual Swap Meet event.  A fun event you won't want to miss!  Here's the run-down on the get-down:

For Shoppers:
The What:  Shop this fun event for bargains and wonderful craft finds.  Everything from paper to stamps, inks to punches.  Then spend a little time in The Hen House Studio for fun, inexpensive and inspiring make and takes.
The When: Sunday, June 20th 1-4pm;  Swap Meet Admission: $1 (proceeds to benefit All Faith's Receiving Home.
The How:  Bring your best gal pal, your shopping tote (and umbrella for shade if you desire).
The Awesome:  Get 20% off all Hen House product purchases from 1-4pm with each paid admission!

For Vendors:
The What: Vend your used craft items at this event (supplies only, no handmade craft wares, please).
The When:  Sunday, June 10th 1-4pm  (Arrive for set up at noon)
How:  $25 for  1 booth space; $30 for 2 sellers at 1 booth

Memory Box Comes To The Hen House

Join us on March 9th and 10th for our Memory Box Extravaganza!  The weekend will hold a trunk show and classes for this favorite, fast-growing paper craft company.  Memory Box offers beautiful papers, dies and stamps and is trending super hot right now.  This is a great way to compliment ABQ Stamp Convention weekend!

Laura Fulcher, Memory Box designers, flies in from D.C. to teach us beautiful and creative techniques using plethora of products.

Here's some background on Laura:

Laura Fulcher currently lives outside Washington DC and serves as the head of the Memory Box design team as well as a design team member for Impression Obsession. Laura teaches classes that focus on coloring, whether it is with markers, pencils, paints, or ink.  Some of her work has appeared in Paper Crafts Magazine, Somerset Studio, the Stamper’s Sampler, Take Ten, and Stampington’s Catch Up issue. You can find more about Laura through her blog, the Color Whimsy blog she writes for Memory Box, or her Stampjournal Youtube channel.

Laura will host two classes at The Hen House in conjunction with Memory Box products - one using Copics and the other Prismacolor pencils.  Each class will provide how-to's with these products that you won't want to miss.  Most products used in the class can be available for purchase in our store if you so desire.  Classes are limited to 16 students and are guaranteed to sell out.  Register soon!

National Scrapbook Day Event - Saturday, May 19th!

Join us at The House for our NSD event.   We'll scrap, eat, scrap, chat, indulge in prizes and fun gift packs for guests.  Our theme for this event is Thelma and Louise.  (Ooooh!  Sounds scandalous, right?)
